All eyes and ears are on the Waterford Count Centre at WIT this afternoon.
Ballot boxes were opened at 9 am sharp and it quickly became clear that Sinn Fein's David Cullinane will top the poll.
The tallies - and they do come with a health warning - have the sitting TD on 38% with his nearest challenger Mary Butler on just under 13%.
Nationally, Sinn Féin look set to gain at least 10 seats.
With most of the tallies finished there's a clear surge in support for Sinn Féin while Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are struggling to pick up extra seats.
A number of Ministers face losing their seats including Regina Doherty, Shane Ross and Katherine Zappone.
It looks like it's leading to the most fractured Dáil in recent memory.
Here are a few images from the Waterford Count Centre thanks to Nigel Kelly.
